About 8 weeks ago I had a huge moment just browsing Exodus 1, my eyes were opened to something they missed before, the boldness and stunning life-saving courage of 2 Egyptian midwives who were accountable to the Pharaoh, or the King of Egypt. They defied his order to kill the male offspring or babies of the Israelites who were in bondage or captivity!
On this day, when a vote in NYC took place that God notes as further abomination recorded in heavens courts, this is a day to recognize the 2 midwives, Shiprah and Puah, and I want to encourage all true followers of Yeshua / Jesus Christ; to intercede strategically with me, in a prayer model to make a difference in the spiritual realm, and perhaps to save many lives!
In the beginning of Exodus, the children of Israel were in captivity for many years (400 total) and we all (hopefully!) know the story, Moses was used (with Aaron) after being chosen by God, to lead them out of captivity, it’s what the whole book of Exodus is about!
But you can read chapter 1 quickly yourself, here below, and then I’m going to comment one more time on these women that I mentioned, and there is a prayer model/example, with an angle to intercede, in honor of Shiprah and Puah!
Here is the word of God, Exodus chapter 1:
1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, 3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.
6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.
8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.
9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:
10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.
15 And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:
16 And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.
18 And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?19 And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.
20 Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied and waxed very mighty.
21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

So, as you can see, basically Pharaoh or the King commanded these midwives to murder! They worked for the Egyptian royalty or monarch, and to disobey him was to risk death. The interesting thing is if you break down the root meaning of the 2 midwives names, the first name “Shiprah” comes from H8236, which basically says, “same as H8235” and her name means FAIR.
The second midwife, Puah, her name is H6326 in the Strong’s concordance, it means SPLENDID. Also, it says, “from an unused root, also meaning to glitter, or have brilliancy”.
These 2 brave women knew that it was wrong to murder or kill the innocent, and they refused to participate in it. As you can clearly read in the verses, God used their courage to expand the people and they waxed mighty! He then honored and blessed the bravery of these two women, by granting them divine favor, and he protected them from Pharoah’s wrath or anger. They were blessed by their obedience to honor the sanctity of God’s creation, the lives of the innocent! MANY lives were saved by these two and their bold and courageous stand, the children of Israel grew and waxed mighty in number!
In the US (known in scripture as the daughter of Babylon), and around the world, abortion and the bloodshed from millions of babies, has reached a climax and many of us know God’s about done tolerating anymore of the nonsense. We know (and the world soon will) that He’s going to be doing some things about it soon.
Now is the time to intercede like never before! The strategy of this proposed prayer model, is to specifically pray and stand in the gap, for the workers in Planned Parenthood facilities (or other facilities) that abort babies, specifically for those doctors, nurses, and administrative staff members that are linked to this horrible chain of death and murder.
You can modify this prayer as you are led by the Spirit of the Lord, I’m just saying when you see this, join me/us in praying to God, seeking Him seriously with the cry of our hearts, and maybe the tears from your eyes, and heaven and the Spirit of God will move!
We pray and we stand, knowing our God hears the effective and fervent prayers of the righteous! Honor these 2 women and their righteous and bold spirits, thousands of years later, as the spirit of murder rages in the daughter of Babylon USA, and the world.
Prayer Model:
Father God, we come to you in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, with gratitude for the breath in our lungs, the beat in our heart, for knowing your mighty hand brought us out of our mothers womb, for a time such as this, at the closing of an age, as the door will soon open to your millennial reign!
We exalt the name of Jesus, the one who paid the price of redemption and restoration, the one who is soon returning as the Lion of Judah, no longer the lamb who was led to the slaughter!
Speaking of slaughter, Father, we cry out to you today on THIS day, in a cry of repentance!
First and foremost, we repent of any time in the past or leading to the present, where we were aware of this murder that’s happening in the womb, the innocent blood being shed, and we were lackadaisical or complacent as sons and daughters of God! Please forgive us for being dead and asleep to these issues in the past, before many of us came to you, or for knowing it was wrong, but doing nothing!
But today, now in who we are as your children who you brought out of our mothers womb, we stand also asking you to forgive those workers in the Planned Parenthood abortion clinics and all said “clinics”, for all who are not in you, who are dead and asleep, participating in these murders! We ask you King of Glory, to have mercy upon them, forgive them of their iniquity, rebellion and blindness!
We ask today Lord God, by the dunamis power of your Spirit, bestow the FAIR AND BRILLIANT Spirit of Shiprah and Puah, upon these workers, and convert them to the attitude of these bold Egyptian midwives, convict them in their hearts and give them eyes to see, the horror and abomination which you so clearly see, and you’re getting ready to avenge!
We pray Father God, that you EMPTY these houses of death of workers! Convict so many of them, they will just have a moment in you, and they will walk out of their roles in coming into agreement with encouraging anyone, to take the life of one of your precious souls!
We plead the blood of Jesus, over every building in every country, where babies are aborted. We decree the time of abomination is at an end, the time of murder is at an end, the time of judgment of the Kingdom of God, is at hand!
We petition and stand in the gap for these workers who are blinded, to REPENT, and to hear the leading of your Spirit, so they can be transformed! Let it begin, with a spirit of Shiprah and Puah, over them, through only the conviction of your Holy Spirit. Father we ask you to draw as many of these workers (and former workers) to you, in repentance, as possible! We thank you with expectancy, for the power of this petition, and we ask for an immediate and expedited ruling in the court of heaven, and an immediate injunction to send angelic forces to enforce this prayer and its affect upon the workers of Babylonian death, and Luciferian destruction!
We ask you Abba, to release upon all of those whom you will draw, save and convict, the spirit of Adoption over them, as you transform their lives from workers of death to redeemed souls!
Father, for those workers of iniquity, those true dark angels of death, who KNOW YOU ARE ELOHIM, and are intentionally and gleefully participating in ending the lives of these precious babies, or who participate in any satanic prayers and rituals, and mock you in the process, we ask you to judge them quickly and bring your righteous judgment to their door speedily, in Jesus mighty name!
Father, finally, for every woman who’s ever gone through this horrible and painful event who has not found you or Jesus, please give them an encounter! Relieve them through the gift of salvation, and take away their pain, guilt, and torment. Pour out your love upon them, and let them know if they surrender to you, they will see their baby in heaven, and find their healing!
We thank you King of Glory, Lord give us additional wisdom and a Spirit of obedience to do more in this fight.
Speak to us, use us, let us witness and testify unto you and tell the world what you have done for us, for we are overcomers only through your righteousness! We watch and pray always, to be considered worthy to escape these things which will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
I bind any spiritual backlash and retaliation of the adversary or his minions over each person who joins me in this petition! I decree and declare NO WEAPON formed against them will prosper, and I ask for a release of steadfastness, boldness, and excellence upon myself and all of my siblings, in Jesus mighty name!
We glorify you, we honor the 2 midwives, and we thank you for the mighty move of harvest and revival, that soon will be upon the entire earth! King of Glory, we say come, maranatha, in Jesus mighty name!
God bless you all…This post and in prayer, is to honor all the babies in NYC that have been murdered, in one small way. Lord Jesus, forgive us all!!!!
